ACMP Manitoba's vision is to create opportunities for change management professionals to network and share ideas, promote the profession and change management concepts to organizations in Manitoba, and provide Manitobans with opportunities for change management education and training.
Every year, the ACMP Manitoba Board meets to renew its strategic plan.  In our most recent strategic planning, we identified the following priorities for the coming years:

  • In the short (1 year) term, we will focus on forming a consistent schedule of events, establishing partnerships with other local associations to be able to enhance the education and training opportunities available to our members and friends, and will expand our communications with you to keep you informed of chapter activity and to help us learn more about what you need from your change management chapter.
  • Within the next few years, we will also work to promote the change management profession in Manitoba and to promote the Certified Change Management Professional designation.
  • In the longer term, our priorities will expand to include hosting a local conference and building a repository of resources (such as whitepapers and change tools) for our chapter members.

ACMP Manitoba exists to serve the professional education and networking needs of our members and friends.  As the chapter enters its second year, our priorities reflect the importance of stabilizing what our chapter offers to our members.  As we continue to grow, expanding our focus to include raising the profile of the change management profession within Manitoba will help to create new work and education opportunities for our members and friends.   We would love to hear from you.  If you feel there are other priorities that ACMP Manitoba should be considering, feel free to email Leanne Douglas at This email address is being protected from spambots.
